A bomb shot is a way of drinking an alcoholic cocktail. A shot glass filled with liquor is dropped into a glass that is partially filled with some other beverage, such as beer or an energy drink. The drink is then consumed quickly ("chugged"). Popular bomb shots include the Jägerbomb, the Irish Car Bomb, the Sake Bomb and the Skittle Bomb.
A drink that is consumed in this way is sometimes called a "depth charge."
